More Neoprene rubber strip:
Neoprene manufacturers often provide neoprene in the form of strips. Neoprene rubber strips are often used for very specific applications. They are different from actual neoprene rolls because they come in pre-determined sizes. They are a bit easier to handle than actual rolls because they are smaller in size overall, but are fairly limited in terms of customization options. Neoprene rubber strips are often used in areas such as roofing or sealing.
This form of neoprene rubber is very popular because it has a huge variety of uses, has excellent resistant qualities, features good elasticity and flexibility, and possesses the ability to be customized. Our neoprene sheet rubber comes in two stocked widths (36”, 48”, 72”) and we offer custom widths up to 78”. For orders needing custom widths, please allow time for manufacturing as this may take a few weeks. It is also important to note that our neoprene sheet material comes in a blend or as pure neoprene. Our regular (55-65 durometer) and hard (65-75 durometer) neoprene products are a blend of Styrene Butadiene Rubber (SBR) and CR while our soft (45-55 durometer) neoprene sheets are pure virgin rubber. Compounding lower durometers require more sophisticated raw material and therefore they are more expensive.
